South Padre Island, TX

So, I'm really late at getting this posted, but a few weeks ago Jordan and I took a trip to Texas. We flew into Houston and Brett Ravenberg's (a teammate of Jordan's)dad picked us up. We went to his house for a few minutes, they let us borrow one of their cars and a GPS (thank goodness!, some goodies and gave us their keys to their condo down in South Padre Island. We headed off on our 5 hour drive and ended up there that night. It was so nice to get away. They were so nice to let us go down there and stay there. They have been telling us to come down there for the past year, so we finally took advantage. Since we didn't get to go on a honeymoon, we treated this trip as one. We did nothing but lounge around, go to the beach and eat lots! I think i gained 10 pounds on the trip seriously!!! Anyway, we stayed at the condo from Tuesday till Saturday. We drove back to Houston on Saturday and stayed at the Ravenberg's house till Tuesday when we flew home. They were so kind. We sure loved their southern hospitality! We also went to NASA while we were down there. We didn't get to stay too long because we got there late and went to dinner with the Ravenberg's that night (it was their parents 24th anniversary!). Anyway, we loved our time down there, but didn't take too many pictures. That's something we're gonna have to get better at!
