Santa & the LIVE Nativity

So every year our stake puts on a nativity, and this isn't just any nativity let me tell you. This is a LIVE nativity with REAL people and REAL animals!!! Baby Jesus is even a REAL baby. It is so cool! People from all around come to see this! Not just our stake. This was my first year going and I was impressed! They make sets and a building for the actual nativity. Everything is so elaborate and well done...lots of attention to detail! From the time we got there till the time we left it was 2 hours! The line is so long! But it is so worth it!

Here's Wyatt and Wrigley in line

Me and my little guy

There were fires all through out the line to keep you warm. Here's some shephards and a goat!

This is a real camel!! Just an example of the real animals!

This is after you come out.

You weren't allowed to take pictures inside the nativity so all these are from before and after. You should seriously see it! There were goats, sheep, a donkey, cows, a camel....everything! It was such a neat experience and I would highly suggest it to anyone that wants to see a good nativity!

Our ward Christmas party was this morning. We went and ate yummy food. Now that I'm a basketball widow again I get to go to lots of things without Jordan, sadly. Anyway, Wyatt got to sit on Santa's lap. Any time someone holds Wyatt that he doesn't really know, he just stares at them like "who are you?". The whole time that's what he did with Santa. I couldn't even get him to look at me for a picture. But....at least he's good about going to anyone and doesn't freakout.

And on an extremely happy note.......Jordan comes home tomorrow!!!!! YAY! It's been a LONG 11 days!! I couldn't be more excited! I miss him like you wouldn't believe and Wyatt sure misses him too. Anytime he hears a door open, he looks up and yells "DADDY"....it's so sad. He's getting really clingy to me though and really says "mommy" very good and a lot. He's always said it fine, but he's saying it all the time now...but I'm sure that will change once Jordan gets home. Wyatt LOVES Jordan like crazy and he'll be attached to him for a while! So will I!

That is awesome that there is a live nativity with so much involved! Where do they borrow the camels from? The zoo? It looked like it was super cold...I hope those shepards bundled up.

We need to get together sometime! Last time we saw you Wyatt wasn't saying really anything and now he is yelling Daddy?!

It was fun to see Jordan play last night. Too bad we didn't get to see you... Maybe next time!
