Sledding and a trip to Boise

Last Thursday we had a Hoyt Christmas party. It was for my mom's side of the family. I LOVE getting together with all my cousins (at least the ones that live here) because they are so much fun and have the cutest kids! My grandma supplied the funds while my mom and my aunt Janice planned it all. It was a blast! We had Cafe Rio for dinner. The great-grandkids went fishing for presents (Wyatt got Woody), and the adults played a game of gift card exchange or whatever you want to call it. Unfortunately, Jordan left that afternoon for a roadtrip so I went solo with the kids. We went up a little early so Wyatt could play in the snow. He LOVED it! I thought he would be kinda scared to go sledding all by himself, but he wasn't. In fact he wouldn't even let me go with him. We went together the first run down and that was it. He went by himself the 2nd time and he had to do it like that from then on. We came in after like 45 minutes to warm up. About 45 minutes later he wanted to go back out. It was totally dark outside and nobody else was out there anymore, but I went back out with him for like another half hour. Needless to say, I'm sure we'll be doing more of that this winter...I uploaded a video for your viewing pleasure.

Jordan left that day for Boise for a few games up there. His sister Nicole plays basketball for Boise State and she had a game up there the same weekend. So Jordan's parents, brothers and sisters, even his sister and her family and his brother came from Nebraska. Wyatt LOVED seeing Stella, Meagan and Shane again...and Uncle Trevor. I drove up with the kids on Friday. It was a fun weekend. Jordan's family always does matching pajamas on Christmas Eve, but since we aren't all going to be together this Christmas, we decided to do it up in Boise. The guys all got matching bottoms and white t-shirts and us girls got zip-up footy jammies. haha, it was funny. We looked silly but it was fun. We partied and stayed up late each night. Wyatt and Chamberlain were troopers. We didn't go to bed till after 1am both nights. Poor guys. Anyway, it was a nice weekend and we were happy to get to spend it with Jordan's family.

Wyatt and Stella watching a movie

The first night there we went to bed at like 1:30. Wyatt woke up at 7 crying hysterically because Jordan wasn't there. He kept crying and saying "I need my Jordan!" Jordan fell asleep with him, but then he had to go back to his hotel. So when Wyatt woke up and he wasn't there, he was quite upset. Anyway, it woke everyone in the room up, except for Stella. After about 30 minutes he calmed down. We went to breakfast and at about 11 i put Wyatt in a bath. When he got out i layed him on my bed in his towel. He didn't want me to put his clothes or diaper on, so I just let him lay there in the towel. I sat down to feed Chamberlain. After about 3 minutes I noticed it was really quiet so i looked over and Wyatt was asleep. I guess he was exhausted from only sleeping like 6 hours.

Chamberlain passed out at Jordan's game
