HE'S 1!

1 year ago today we welcomed Chamberlain Isaac into our family. I can't believe he's 1! Today was his birthday and I like to think he had an idea that it was a special day for him. He was great all day, until people went home. Then he just got tired and fussy. My family came over for dinner and we had a little cupcake for Chamberlain to eat. I had very strict instructions that I was not allowed to do any birthday celebration while Jordan was gone. He didn't want to miss Chamberlain's 1st birthday celebration. However, about a week ago, Jordan caved in and said that we should at least do a cupcake. It was going to be his first birthday and that's kind of a big deal.

We waited for Jordan to call on Skype and we were able to have him see when we sang Happy Birthday to Chamberlain and gave him his little cupcake. He definitely wasn't shy. This kid LOVES food!! Seriously, I feel like all I do is feed him...it's like I have a newborn again. Anyway, he dug right in and ate the whole cupcake. He was even kind enough to share (feed) some with me and Wyatt. He's so sweet. He has gotten so much more of a personality these last 2 weeks and I love it. I wish I had more pictures to put up but since Jordan has the camera and the batteries weren't charged in the other camera....the pictures from my phone will have to do.

We sure love this little guy and couldn't be happier to have him in our family. A better birthday celebration will be coming as soon as Jordan gets home Chamberlain...then we can celebrate your birthday properly. As well as mine. We aren't celebrating my birthday (May 31) until Jordan gets home either. Then it will be Jordan's birthday soon after. Birthday's all around!!!
