Adults Only Xmas Party & Christmas

I have been back in Utah with my kids for almost a week now. I flew back with the boys on Tuesday morning. Wednesday night we had an Adult Only christmas party with all my cousin's at my aunt and uncle's house. It.Was.So.Fun! Unfortunately I flew solo, but it comes with the career I guess. In the 6 years that Jordan has been around for the Christmas parties, he's only been to 1. It's sad, but I guess that's how it goes. It's been hard the last few years with the christmas party because the cousins all want to chat and catch up and visit with each other, but it's like you are mostly just chasing kids around so it's not as nice. But this year we got a heads up that it was going to be adults only, so we all found babysitters for the kids and headed over for a great party. We had Olive Garden food, lots of yummy finger foods and lots of delicious desserts. We started off eating and then moved onto games. We divided up into 3 teams and played Minute to Win It. I have never played before, but have heard all about it. But it was so funny! I took pictures, but thinking about it I totally wish I would have just taken videos of each challenge. It was way more funny than the pictures look.

This challenge was to get all the bells out of the tissue box just by shaking your butt

Getting the box of bells in order from 1 to 6 by shaking and listening to the box

Blowing the cards to the edge so they hang off and stay. I must say, I should have won this challenge. The first card I blew I got it to rest on the end of the table how it is supposed to. But when i stopped blowing, the air from my brother blowing his caught wind on my card and blew it off. It sucked and i lost.

For this challenge you had to catch a gingerbread cookie in your mouth. It started up on your forehead and the only way you could move it was with your facial muscles, trying to move it from your forehead to your mouth. Tara (sitting on the left) won.

On Christmas Eve Jordan flew in (yay!) and we did some last minute shopping and then went to my Mom's house. She wanted to do a little nativity with the grandkids and have some stew. We all dressed up and it turned out as good as it can with little kids I guess.

This was us dressed up. Wyatt wasn't very happy.

After that we went over to Jordan's parents house. Their basement is almost done. They have decorated some and it looks nice, but they still have more moving in to do. Jordan hasn't seen the house since before they started moving in so it was fun for him to go over there. It's a beautiful house and it was nice to have so much space.

Wyatt spilled his drink on his lap and had to peel the pants and play in his undies. This is a cute horsie ride jordan gave the kids together. They love horsie rides.

Christmas morning we went to church at 11. It was nice and everyone was happy to see Jordan. All the young men that blessed the sacrament were waving to Jordan and of course everyone had to come talk to him after the meeting. But it was nice and fun to go to our old ward. After church we went over to Jordan's parent house again. We opened presents and hung out for a little while. We brought our wedding book and wedding video over and looked at them. Jordan's brother's girlfriend (who are planning on getting married) wanted to see them. We haven't looked at them for a long time and it was so nice to see. I love Jordan.

Their nice fireplace. That's one of my favorite things of the house. I love fireplaces.

Our gifts for some of Jordan's family.

I made this temple picture for Jordan's parents. It turned out nice.

This sweet mat that Jordan's parents got Wyatt. He LOVES it! And it's huge!

After that we went back to my mom's house and had dinner and opened more presents. At this point we still hadn't opened our own family presents and the kids still hadn't opened their presents from Santa either. But by 8 I think we finally got everything opened.

My cute boys...

We finished off the night by going back over to Jordan's parents house. We put Chamberlain to bed and my mom stayed up and played one of Wyatt's new games with him and then put him to bed. We had fun over at the Brady's playing games and just talking. Jordan left this morning and we wont see him till Saturday :( We already miss him. Anyway, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! We sure did!
